Although I was exhausted, Mike’s enthusiasm was infectious, and the sheer spontaneity of the plan appealed to me. I shrugged and agreed. Mike was overjoyed, and Alyssa equally so.
I’ve told the story before (with portfolios published in September 2020) of when my photography was the featured event at a sex party in Portland, Oregon. The party hosts knew of my work and thought offering people the opportunity to be photographed would be a fun addition to the evening’s revels. Indeed that proved to very much be the case, as I was able to photograph five different couples during the evening, while other guests at the party observed, and later commented enthusiastically.
